Therapeutic Massage
A Therapeutic Massage is tailored to the specific health needs of the individual. The session is result oriented and various techniques are used to target the area(s) of need. Below are some of the many therapeutic techniques used throughout a session.

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy
Precision Neuromuscular Therapy (PNMT) is an advanced method of soft tissue therapy for the relief of muscular discomfort, pain, and limited range of motion. This highly evolved treatment utilizes a hands-on technique based on identifying soft tissue restriction through precise palpation. PNMT helps to reintroduce and reintegrate forgotten or lost body movements by applying alternating levels of concentrated pressure to the muscle spam and areas of restriction. The pressure is then applied perpendicularly in a very precise direction with finger tips and held as long as 10-30 seconds, depending on the response or release of the soft tissue. This technique should not be painful, in fact to be most effective this technique needs to be applied with a pressure that is comfortably accepted by your body.
Cranial Release
Cranial Release is an effective, non-invasive form of bodywork comprised of both PNMT and Myofascial Release. During a Cranial Release treatment, pressure is applied to the bones of the head while releasing restrictions of the cranial muscles. Cranial Release effectively addresses the sympathetic nervous system, via a gentle hands-on approach. The Cranial Release technique shifts the brain into a more relaxed state. While relaxed, the brain is capable of assisting the body in maintaining a more proper functioning status. Cranial Release allows the body to experience a deep release of tension, which is one of the primary causes of stress on the nervous system. Due to the effectiveness of this technique in desensitizing the sympathetic nervous system, it is known to be a very successful pain management tool.

Myofascial Release
While massage can be effective in relieving tension, correctly releasing and realigning the fascia can help to achieve true lasting results and ultimately maximize the effectiveness of your therapeutic session, by releasing tightness across a broad section of your muscular system. A gentle massage and light manual pressure to the areas of the Myofascial promotes rehabilitation through improved movement and function of the soft tissue, by decreasing fascial restriction/spasm and by increasing range of motion.
Hot Stone Therapeutic Massage
Hot Stone Therapy is a technique in which stones are warmed and applied to the body during the therapeutic massage and/or bodywork session. The heat of the stone is used to promote circulation and new blood supply to the soft tissue, aiding in the rebuild and recovery… and it feels good, too!

Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic drainage is a customized form of bodywork that promotes improved function of the lymphatic system. By applying a light pressure in a specific direction with rhythmic motion, the lymphatic system can be stimulated to work more efficiently and assist the body in clearing sluggish tissues of waste and swelling.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping works deep into muscles and fascia, breaking up adhesions, relieving fascial restrictions, and muscle tension. It also stimulates blood flow, creating a pathway for stagnant blood, inflammation, and toxins that have fallen out of healthy circulation to be drawn out into the lymphatic system for enhanced healing.
